BacoTech LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LiqLoc mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is stored using industry-standard hashing and is never stored in plain text.
Location Data
With your permission, we collect your approximate location to show nearby stores and prices. Location data is used only while you are actively using the App and is not stored on our servers.
Camera Access
With your permission, the App accesses your device camera solely to scan product barcodes. Images captured during scanning are processed on-device and are not transmitted to our servers.
User-Submitted Content
If you submit price reports, product information, or store details, that content is stored on our servers and may be visible to other users of the App.
Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage data such as search queries, screens visited, and crash reports to improve the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App's features (searching, price comparison, store lookup)
- To display relevant store and price information based on your location
- To authenticate your account and manage your submissions
- To communicate with you about your account or the App
3. Advertising
The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain device information (such as advertising identifiers and general location) to serve relevant ads. 4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following cases:
- With your consent — for example, price reports you submit are visible to other users

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App's account settings or by contacting us.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 21.
